The actor joins Victoria Justice in Paramount’s teen comedy, marking the directorial debut of the “Chuck” and “Gossip Girl” exec producer.

Thomas Mann is in talks for the male lead opposite Victoria Justice in Fun Size, Paramount’s teen comedy serving as the directorial debut of TV creator Josh Schwartz.

Schwartz is producing with his Fake Empire partner Stephanie Savage as well as Anonymous Content.

The comedic script, by Colbert Report scribe Max Werner, centers on a sarcastic teenage girl (Justice) who is forced to take her little brother trick-or-treating on Halloween, then loses him and must find him before their mother finds out.

Mann will be a potential love interest for Justice, playing a naive teen with two lesbians as parents who named him after Eleanor Roosevelt.

A spring shoot in Minnesota is being planned for what Paramount envisions to be a PG-13 project.

Mann is beginning to generate some heat as an actor on the rise. After two TV appearances, he appeared in It’s Kind of a Funny Story and will be seen in the upcoming Todd Phillips-produced comedy Project X. He just booked a key role in Paramount’s Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.

Mann is repped by Innovative Artists and Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Entertainment.
