Shammi Kapoor - Geeta Bali

The ‘Yahoo’ star was a superstar in his own right, but sadly this was much before the era of Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra, who are till today considered to be the first ‘superstars’ of Hindi film cinema. He married his then co-star Geeta Bali in a quiet affair at Banganga. This is another Bollywood relation that stood the test of time, until Geeta Bali expired due to small pox. She was one of the few ‘Kapoor daughter in laws’ who kept working even after their marriage.

Amitabh Bachchan - Jaya Bhadhuri:

Amitabh Bachchan had a superhit and Jaya Bhaduri had just entered the world of superstardom when millions of fans of both genders were shattered by the news - the two had got married. Even today, people think that he could have created magic if he had lived just a decade more. Ever the revolutionary, he married the then top actress Madhubhala, in a secret wedding ceremony. Kishore Kumar is considered to be one of the most talented singers and music composers, while Madhubhala is still considered to be the most beautiful actress to ever have graced the screen.

Rishi Kapoor - Neetu Singh

Few people of this generation would consider that Neetu Singh was one of the hottest names when she got married, and that is simply because those were the times when a women centric movie would mean that it was either a social movie, or a movie that would harp about the traditions and stuff - an aspect that couldn’t be connected to the Hot Pant’s wearing, supposedly modern Neetu Singh.
