If you haven't been watching this season of The Celebrity Apprentice, don't worry about it -- you can still partake in the tension that's customary for the finale episode, as apparently, Donald Trump is heavily considering making an announcement regarding whether or not he's decided to run for president in 2012. He told the New York Times yesterday, "I am thinking of saying on the live finale of The Apprentice on May 22nd that in a few days I will be making an announcement about my decision." He said if he does choose to make a statement on the air he'd first have to clear it with NBC, who he blamed for not letting him talk about his potential bid when Meredith Vieira of the Today show asked him why he just won't tell us already (Trump said NBC won't let him do anything as long as this season of The Apprentice is still on the air). Political experts have stated there's no way a network can prevent him from saying if he plans to run, so it's likely that this "announcement" is just another way for him to gain ratings by appealing to viewers who haven't been watching the show. And to make things particularly interesting, Trump added "I might ask the two finalists if I should run for president. Of course, if they're intelligent, they'll have to say yes, since I'm about to fire one of them." It's like he's had this whole thing planned for years
